J. Cory Hoffer is the founder of Hermitage Wealth Management, a boutique comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory firm. Hoffer is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM(CFP®) practitioner with over 10 years experience in the financial services industry. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University in 1999 and completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM(CFP®) coursework at the College for Financial Planning and Virginia Commonwealth University's Center for Corporate Education.
As a firm believer in education, Hoffer is currently working towards a post-Baccalaureate certificate in Accounting in order to pursue his CPA certification. Hoffer is a proud member of the Financial Planning Association and has served on the Board of the Richmond Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
With a strong commitment to both his community and industry, Hoffer actively supports numerous charitable organizations throughout the greater Richmond area. He currently serves on the President's Council of Richmond Sports Backers, where he was once a college intern. He is actively involved with Junior Achievement at Colonial Trail Elementary School.
Hoffer and his wife Janine live in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, and are the proud parents of John Taylor Hoffer.
